In the area of Administrative Law, the Firm has extensive experience in administrative activities, Administrative Organization (central, regional and local), State Business Sector, Civil Service, Administrative Procedures and Administrative Litigation.
In this context, the Firm provides legal advice and opinions and also offers a continuous assistance to its public and private clients which, either by promoting or participating, respectively, in public proceedings, require counselling in this area.In regard to Public Markets, and to the procurement of public works, goods and services and provision of works, public services and operation and management of goods in the public domain - either generally considered or in the specific sectors of energy, transportation and telecommunications - the Firm assists promoters and participants in the pre-contractual procedural stage (review of patented pieces referring to competitions promoted by the Administration and competing bidders proposals, preparation of drafts of interim decisions, counselling and attendance at the act of public tendering, negotiation of contract terms and resolution of disputes and litigation before Administrative Courts or Arbitral Tribunals) and in the implementation phase of the contract.
Finally, in terms of Constitutional Law, the Firm has also participated in the resolution of several issues that require law confrontation and interpretation in accordance with the Fundamental Law (The Constitution of the Portuguese Republic), developing a relevant work in providing legal information to its clients and in legal representation before Common, Administrative and Tax, and Constitutional Courts.
